Check out the interview we did with the good folks at 21-7 Magazine. Much props to “X” (who did the interview) for dealing with our antics.
Here’s a portion of the interview:
21-7: What do you guys do before a studio session? What gets you in the zone to get a track done?
Matter ov Fact: Well first I rent a school bus out, then on my way to the basement lab I pick up like 30 Middletown smuts, right. To make a long story short our sessions consist of alotta cocaine, alotta loose women and a little work being done.
EP: Yeah, that’s about right.
If you are not familiar with Flud Watches (Fludwatches.com) then you should definitely check them out. New, innovative and cool designs are popping up from this unique watch company that’s on the rise. They’ve been featured on Hypebeast.com and have collaborated with Slaughterhouse for a Slaughterhouse watch to commemorate their new album. They even showed The Doppelgang some love on their blog! If you know what time it is, you’ll get yourself a Flud Watch!
When 730 of HipHopGame.com told us he was starting a new blog that would express satire, comedy and a detailed look at Hip Hop culture, we said you gotta do it. It’s what’s missing in the Hip Hop blog world. Honesty and integrity. We love 730’s take on music. He doesn’t look at himself as a trendsetter or an egotistical asshole with severe narcissism as he keeps his finger on the pulse of what’s next. He simply expresses his views (whether you agree with him or not) and keeps it moving. We’ve known 730 since 2006 and he’s always showed us a lot of love. He’s a real cool, down to earth dude who hasn’t let his HHG fame go to his head. So, please check out what he’s doing at WEGOININ.com because it’s not going to be your typical Hip Hop blog about the latest exclusive. It’s bringing a viewpoint that has not been seen thus far.
Spotted @ AHH.com . This footage is crazy. Look at Diggz. Little did he know how much of an impact he would make. We’ll always have a soft spot for Cam even though his past few LP’s haven’t been what they could’ve been if he were still down with Diggz.
We premiered our joint “The Groggy Pack” at EODUB but it’s not ready for release…yet! 2012: The New Beginning coming soon! The album is coming along very well and will satisfy that itch for some real rugged, yet smooth music. In the words of Matter Ov Fact:
Too many albums are one sided. Either it’s hot beats with no lyrics or all lyrics and weak beats. We’re trying our best to make sure all aspects are covered.
